It was quite a shocker when Naruto narrowly missed his Fuuton Rasenshurikan on Kakuzu in this week’s episode of Shippuuden. Much confidence was placed in Naruto to land his first one perfectly, but his shadow clones weren’t enough of a distraction.
Foul mouth Hidan has now been silenced, thanks to Shikamaru’s burial of Hidan’s head and many bits and pieces. Another Akatsuki down. Yay for Konoha!
Feelings of rejoice were felt when Naruto used his brain! Hiding himself with his clones created the opportunity to land Rasenshuriken on Kakuzu, blasting him miles away, taking away his three hearts. Success!
New and improved Naruto. Though not in perfect shape, is still better than the Naruto we met from day one. He has gone far, and still has further to go.
Sasuke appears in next week’s episode. Hurrah! New arc!
We’re finally back seeing the progress Naruto has made on combining nature manipulation with his rasengan. No matter how much Naruto tried, he was unable to do it, then leaking out Kyuubi unconsciously. But it was only until Naruto said that he couldn’t look left and right, that Kakashi showed him how to do it. Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, Kakashi looks both ways. So Naruto takes 2 clones, one to do the necessary manipulations, and we have a something that resembles a wind rasengan! Naruto’s earlier rasengans took at least 2 clones to do shape manipulation, now he only needs one. Maybe Naruto needs more, and over time he will just need one! Or none!Shame that we have to wait a few more episodes till we can see this move being tested and perfected.
Akatsuki’s goals are finally revealed! I’ve always thought of them to be power whores, and now it’s for sure. Their leader, who I don’t even know his name, says that Akatsuki lives to control the world, like every evil person in every movie,tv show wants to do. So I wonder when they will come after Naruto. Maybe after extracting bijuu out of the two tails.
Then we have Asuma’s funeral. Shock to the village. There’s something up with Shikamaru next episode.
Naruto is getting somewhere with his new jutsu as he notices the difference in technique when making Chidori and Rasengan, as shown by Kakashi. Rasengan only requires shape manipulation where as Chidori also needs Nature! Lightning. Furthermore, Rasengan was made by the 4th Hokagem and if you don’t know already is Naruto’s dad. His intentions were to add an element to Rasengan but even such a strong person was unable to complete it. Now it’s up to Naruto who can make this new jutsu, through the aid of his shadow clones! He can do it as far as I’m concerned.
Elsewhere, Hidan and Kakuzu are exchanging the Chiriku’s body for the bounty. Other teams are heading to the exhange points but only Asuma’s team will meet Akatsuki! The other teams set up traps ready to ambush the ‘coming Akatsuki’.
Asuma’s team made a great entrance. Hidan was caught off guard but it really didn’t matter. Restricted by Shikamaru’s shadow ability, with the other two (I really don’t know their names but they’re awesome) stab Hidan’s vital organs, but to no avail, Hidan’s alive. So basically now it’s just Hidan fighting Asuma’s team since Kakuzu was told to stay out. There’s been difficulty for Asuma and Shikamaru who have been teaming up to take down Hidan. Eventhough it’s 2v1, they’re struggling against the power of Akatsuki. Quickly call for reinforcements I say!
Back to Naruto. His clones are trying very hard! A little hiccup when Kyuubi’s chakra leak out of Naruto, prompting Yamato to seal him up. Quite a scare. And you know Sakura’s soldier pills? It’s about time she tried one for herself and realise it tastes like shit.
Double episode next week. How rare of this. If you missed the passwords for this week, they were ‘A’ ‘Su’ ‘Ma’ ‘To’.
Another week of Naruto. Another week of not being able to use my computer.
Naruto has successfully cut the waterfall, despite not using any of Sakura’s soldier pills, because they were plain disgusting. I have an issue. Where did all the water go if he cut it? Splash into his face, but the splashes would’ve been very severe with the ammount of water and pressure. Dodgy things that happen in anime! A monk from the Fire Temple has come to inform Tsunade about Akatsuki. Tsunade calls upon 24 platoons to search them out throughout the Fire Country. Orders were not to let any of them escape the country. Capture, if not, kill. Strict Orders. Asuma got hit with the bad news of Chiriku’s death.
Next episode, we’re going to see Naruto’s new jutsu in action. About time 🙂 Hopefully some Akatsuki vs Konoha action too.
An interesting episode this week. Naruto starts his Chakra Manipulation Training once again. I’m pleased he’s going to have an awesome jutsu soon. Naruto is given a task to cut a waterfall. Theoretically speaking, it should be very hard as water keeps coming down and down, making it harder, and it proves to be a challenge for Naruto, struggling on a very narrow waterfall with 9 clones assisting. Once again, Yamato sits down with his ‘Sit’ kanji to control Naruto’s chakra, whilst Kakashi bludges reading ‘Icha Icha Paradise.’
Meanwhile, Pain has taken up the two tailed Jinchuuriki. Kakuzu and Hidan head towards the Fire Country, for what I thought was Sora. They arrive at the temple, Kakuzu punches with his iron fist, causing concern among the Fire Temple. Chiriku comes out to face the evil forces! On a bounty-list, his head is worth 30million Ryou. Quite alot of money, especially when you can easily defeat the person. So Chiriku take on the Akatsuki members, using a God with too many arms to pack punches against them. They couldn’t even touch them. In the end, we all knew it, Akatsuki was going to win the fight. The Fire Temple is left in ruins, all the monks including Chiriku are dead, all except one, who will warn Konoha of this incident. Yet again, we see Hidan doing the Seppuku ritual. It’s so scary =o
Naruto finds it hard to cut the waterfall. He whines a bit to Kakashi, who tells him about how he should be happy that he’s already skipped many years of training. Once he mentions Kakashi, Naruto gains a huge burst of motivation, quickly resuming training. Kakashi thought it was time to fatten the waterfall, asking Yamato to do so. Yamato kinda over did it, huffing and puffing after widening it. I can tell you, that waterfall is pretty huge now, Naruto wasn’t even capable of splitting the small waterfall. How long is it gonna take to do this one?
A little thing about the waterfall. Where does all the water come from? All we can see for the source of the waterfall is a tiny lake. There must be a hidden waterpump recycling the waterfall water!! There must be!
Next week we can look forward to Konoha sending out troops to combat Akatsuki, look forward to more training, find out about Sakura’s imba soldier pill. I know I said that I wouldn’t blog but there a void I have to fill. Blogging will be my freedom from study for the next week. ^^! Hope you enjoy reading.
