Congratulations to us loyal Heroes fans. We’re at the halfway mark of the ‘Villains’ Volume, and I’ve gotta say, it’s been an epic volume so far. It’s been intense, exciting, disappointing, shocking. The other half of the volume is definitely going to deliver.

The 'Formula' is a success

Heroes has gone a fair way since the start of this volume. The start of the volume was confusing. Many questions were being raised. Why was Peter put in Jesse’s body? Who is Sylar? Why was Linderman still alive? As each episode aired, these questions were answered to surmount to where we are now.

Hiro's mum

The situation now in Heroes is quite interesting. Arthur Petrelli dead, by Sylar. Peter still powerless. Hiro joining the powerless group, and not only that, is stuck 15years in the past. Suresh successfully creating the ability inducing drug. Nathan making his choice to follow out his father’s plans. Matt, Daphne and Ando set to save Hiro. Sylar, who had hope of changing, is back to his usual self. Elle dead. Claire losing the catalyst to Arthur. Peter and the Haitian attempting to take down Pinehearst. Where does Volume 3 go from here ?

Is this the last of him?

What I’m hoping is Ando gaining his powers synthetically. Peter gaining his ‘sponge’ power back. Sylar becoming good AND NOT BAD! Peter shutting down Nathan’s plans . Daphne and Parkman closer. And of course, Hiro gaining his powers back, and returning to the present.

...

I’m sure all of us were shocked whenHiro was stripped of his powers. And it was even more shocking that he was left in the past, lost in time. The price he pays for trying to save the world. So unfair!

Stuck in the past!

So let’s hope Hiro regains his abilities back!

The great divide between good and evil is made distinct this episode. However who stands on which side at the current stage is unknown. It is hard to distinguish who is ‘good’ and who is ‘bad.’

Tracey Strauss is one of three triplets, who have unique abilities. When thinking this, Ali Larter must be happy that she can die again and still have another character to play. The identical triplets Tracey,Nicky and Bobboa?! unsure but these three were not special to begin with. Zimmerman is the person who ‘probably’ gave them their powers but his mind has been erased of that knowledge. Interesting things.

So the future plays another big role on determining what heroes will do. We’ve already seen Hiro go into the future and realise the consequences of losing the formula. Now Peter and his future counterpart explore the future. The future is an interesting one. Everyone has powers, and this is thanks to an injection that can be bought easily at a price. Future Peter considers this ‘bad’ as he knows that humans are selfish and will not control their powers. So what side is Future Peter on? He’s on the bad site of the people who promote the powers. Claire is one of these people, along with Daphne and Knox(enchanced strength dude). This explains alot about what happened in the first episode. But why is Peter going against everyone?  And yes Daphne=Matt’s Future Wife LEWL.

So how’s life with Suresh? His failed formula is transforming him into a cockroach. Disgusting as it may seem, the future shows us what he is. His monstrosity must be so hideous, we weren’t even allowed to see his face. I think Suresh will find the correct formula, which would have given the powers to everyone in the future, or someone will get their hands on the formula the company have been desperately trying to protect from everyone.

Sylar in the future was just a funny. I should say Gabriel, he’s become more controlled, and has become a dad of an interesting named son called Noah. Now isn’t this such a coincidence that his Noah happens to have the same names as Clare’s foster dad. Maybe this is the Noah we know but in kid form? Anyway, Peter learning Gabriel’s power of learning how everything works serves to be in his worst interest. The hunger of power overwhlems sense of judgement, taking the powers of his own brother! Wait he doesn’t need to do that. I wonder though how knowing Sylar’s power will affect things. I’m sure Sylar knows exactly what is going on but just isn’t telling everyone. Sylar has potential to be GOOD!

I’m still a bit lost on who is on which side but my opinions on this episode. It just turned everything over on its head. Hiro digging up Adam? Interesting I say.

Correction about Mohinder’s ability. Clearly at the start of the episode, and I actually remember from reading spoilers, he has powers that mimic Spiderman. Not that he can spin webs but his senses have improved dramatically.

Massive escape of the highly dangerous Level 5 prisoners! Thanks to Elle who blacked out the security measures. Can’t blame her, Sylar had killed her dad, then he was after her so what could she do! At least she knocked Sylar out.Among the prisoners was a pyrotechnic, magnet controller, sound manipulator and a enhanced strength man! What I still don’t understand is why did Future Peter put Peter into the body of the sound manipulator Jesse Murphy! This explains  the yelling of ‘I’m Peter Petrelli’ from last episode, but tell me why!! On the topic of prisoners, they’re out to kill, but what is Peter Petrelli going to do? He’s trapped in the body of Jesse Murphy, he has to pick a side. He’s just following the prisoners but will he rebel?

Another thing that needs to be answered. Tracey Strauss. Does she have the power of turning anything into ice? She owned the reporter with the video tapes of her sexing it with Nathan. I thought she would have super strength but strangely, with the change in personality, she gets a new power? Or is it the reporter that can change forms? All very vague and mysterious!

With Sylar captive, Angela was able to have a chat with her dear son…WHAT!?! I said it. Angela claims that Sylar is her son. So then who’s Sylar’s mum? Is Peter Sylar’s brother? Or is Nathan Sylar’s brother? Are one of them adopted? Many questions being raised up already! I can’t wait to find out more!!

A bit of tension rising between Hiro and Ando. Due to seeing the future, Hiro feels uneasy, unable to trust Ando as much anymore. In the future, Ando clearly is a villain. So are there any clues pointing to this already? Yes! At Daphne’s apartment, Hiro delegates Ando the task of searching for the formula, whilst he sets up a trap. When Daphne returns, Hiro implements his trap of trading, making Daphne trade the formula for her 12th Grade 100m Medal (funny isn’t it). After seeing where she hid it, Hiro was annoyed because he thought Ando looked everywhere. Ando had a very shifty look at this stage. I’m keeping my eyes peeled for more hints. ANDO IS EVIL!

Next episode! I can’t wait!

A great start to what was let down by the writer’s strike. The new volume ‘Villains’ has started and we’re taken on the journey which promises to be very bumpy. Everything imagined has gone BAD. Sylar taking Clare’s power, Future Peter shooting Nathan, Future Peter switching places with Peter, Hiro opening up the safe with the secret formula and allowing Daphne to steal it, Hiro goes into the future to find out that the world’s in chaos, especially when he sees himself fighting Ando who seems to have force lightning from STARWARS OH YEA! Sylar’s off to steal the powers of the very dangerous people, who are locked away with HRG, and someone who claims to be Peter Petrelli, but clearly doesn’t look like him. What’s worse is that there have been two signs of the world exploding, one that Matt Parkman sees and one that appears behind Mohinder’s. It’s not looking pretty for our heroes.

What I’m happy to see is that Mohinder has finally found a way to gain a power. It’s a shame that he didn’t have something else other than super strength. Repeating powers isn’t cool, especially when Nikki, maybe I should say Tracey has it also. On the topic of Tracey, she’s busy sexing it up with a governor. We don’t know at this stage if Tracey has any of Nikki’s memories but it’s only a matter of time Tracey and Nathan meet. Linderman is alive, being the one who saved Nathan. Matt Parkman has been teleported to a desert by Future Peter. Mother Petrelli has told Future Peter that he ‘screwed it all up,’ and whats she’s said could be true. Imagine if Nathan told everyone about these powers…ahem. ‘I can fly’ Lewl

So the this Volume of Heroes is called ‘Villains’ and from director Tim Kring, we’ve been informed that we’re going to see people take one side or the other. Good or Bad. Simple right? Not simple when you can’t guess who’s taking what side. Future Ando seems to be a villain! Sylar seems to be a villain but rumour says he’s just not doing ‘bad things.’ Future Peter look evil with that huge scar but…guess I’ll have to wait and see.

I’m yet to watch the second episode. I’m totally looking forward to it.
