The whole series is shooting all over the place, but everything is connected in the most weird ways.
Maya has been cured of her ability by Mr Petrelli, and it seems though as we will never see her again. She bears no significance to the plot, unless she’s used as a love tool for Suresh. Another character they stop casting from the second series, like Monica.
I still believe Sylar’s got the will to change for the better. Though he has met his father, and on the surface seems that he’s going to support him, I’m sure Sylar is intending to work ‘undercover.’ He did chuck Peter out the window but I’m sure Sylar gave him a softer landing than expected. Now I wonder, what can Peter do without his powers? He really needs them back!!
Now Daphne disturbs me. Why does she still converse with Pinehearst when at any moment, she could get snapped dead by Mr Petrelli, like Mory. And Parkman is just being stupid. Read her mind to find out what she’s doing. Parkman’s just blinded by the future. Shouldn’t you be blinded by the past instead?
And Hiro. I hope to see something ‘delicious’ in his dream. I anticipate the beginnings of Ando’s powers in the dreaming.
No screencaps, due to being capped. Will upload later.
The great divide between good and evil is made distinct this episode. However who stands on which side at the current stage is unknown. It is hard to distinguish who is ‘good’ and who is ‘bad.’
Tracey Strauss is one of three triplets, who have unique abilities. When thinking this, Ali Larter must be happy that she can die again and still have another character to play. The identical triplets Tracey,Nicky and Bobboa?! unsure but these three were not special to begin with. Zimmerman is the person who ‘probably’ gave them their powers but his mind has been erased of that knowledge. Interesting things.
So the future plays another big role on determining what heroes will do. We’ve already seen Hiro go into the future and realise the consequences of losing the formula. Now Peter and his future counterpart explore the future. The future is an interesting one. Everyone has powers, and this is thanks to an injection that can be bought easily at a price. Future Peter considers this ‘bad’ as he knows that humans are selfish and will not control their powers. So what side is Future Peter on? He’s on the bad site of the people who promote the powers. Claire is one of these people, along with Daphne and Knox(enchanced strength dude). This explains alot about what happened in the first episode. But why is Peter going against everyone? And yes Daphne=Matt’s Future Wife LEWL.
So how’s life with Suresh? His failed formula is transforming him into a cockroach. Disgusting as it may seem, the future shows us what he is. His monstrosity must be so hideous, we weren’t even allowed to see his face. I think Suresh will find the correct formula, which would have given the powers to everyone in the future, or someone will get their hands on the formula the company have been desperately trying to protect from everyone.
Sylar in the future was just a funny. I should say Gabriel, he’s become more controlled, and has become a dad of an interesting named son called Noah. Now isn’t this such a coincidence that his Noah happens to have the same names as Clare’s foster dad. Maybe this is the Noah we know but in kid form? Anyway, Peter learning Gabriel’s power of learning how everything works serves to be in his worst interest. The hunger of power overwhlems sense of judgement, taking the powers of his own brother! Wait he doesn’t need to do that. I wonder though how knowing Sylar’s power will affect things. I’m sure Sylar knows exactly what is going on but just isn’t telling everyone. Sylar has potential to be GOOD!
I’m still a bit lost on who is on which side but my opinions on this episode. It just turned everything over on its head. Hiro digging up Adam? Interesting I say.
More and more of the story unfolds!
So we’ve been informed that Sylar is Angela’son who she put up for adoption, and there’s a hint of Sylar’s real powere but it’s just his obsession to gaining more and MOAR POWERS! I still doubt Angela’s intentions, after feeding Brigitte to Sylar. The power to touch and object to view its history. Wonder why such a power was invented? It has to come useful, maybe for the formula?
So if Sylar is Angela’s son, then are Nathan and Peter her sons? If so that would make Clare’s uncle Sylar. All these family relationships interwebbing are interesting but if too muddled, it will be very wrong…
Hiro and Ando are gradually splitting up as friends. Another sign of this shown as Ando decides to ignore Hiro’s plan and just does as he pleases. I wonder when they will separate! They’ve been inseparable forever.
There’s always discussions on how to kill Clare, Adam, and the new member Sylar. Noah seems eager to find out after being stuck with Sylar as a partner. Clare’s urge to fight with her dad causes her mum to show Clare what she’s weak against. Inside a shipping container, Clare’s mum burns all the oxygen, making Clare suffocate and feel drowsy. Dieing by suffocation? Mind tricks? I’m sure Parkman can trap people within their own minds. Speaking of Parkman, who’s that women the African dude draws him with? Blond hair. Only leads to Daphne or Tracey.
Now I’ve been waiting for Micah to come back to the plot. Tracey follows a hunch after being mistaken as Nicky Sanders. Tracey goes to New Orleans, goes to what she doesn’t know as Nicky’s funeral(I thought her body blew up). She opens the coffin to see Nicky, or herself. Micah meets Tracey wondering what the helll. So he checks the relationship between Tracey and Nicky, and in a matter a few seconds, they find out they were born on the same day, same hosiptal, same day, SAME DOCTOR. SO Tracey follows the lead of Dr. Zimmerman. She meets the doctor, and we’ve just found out Tracey’s been created by him. So what does this imply? Nicky Sander’s was created for sure. Then does this mean Dr.Zimmerman knows more about these powers than Mohinder? Because it surely does!
Can’t wait for next episode. Always a thrill to watch!
A great start to what was let down by the writer’s strike. The new volume ‘Villains’ has started and we’re taken on the journey which promises to be very bumpy. Everything imagined has gone BAD. Sylar taking Clare’s power, Future Peter shooting Nathan, Future Peter switching places with Peter, Hiro opening up the safe with the secret formula and allowing Daphne to steal it, Hiro goes into the future to find out that the world’s in chaos, especially when he sees himself fighting Ando who seems to have force lightning from STARWARS OH YEA! Sylar’s off to steal the powers of the very dangerous people, who are locked away with HRG, and someone who claims to be Peter Petrelli, but clearly doesn’t look like him. What’s worse is that there have been two signs of the world exploding, one that Matt Parkman sees and one that appears behind Mohinder’s. It’s not looking pretty for our heroes.
What I’m happy to see is that Mohinder has finally found a way to gain a power. It’s a shame that he didn’t have something else other than super strength. Repeating powers isn’t cool, especially when Nikki, maybe I should say Tracey has it also. On the topic of Tracey, she’s busy sexing it up with a governor. We don’t know at this stage if Tracey has any of Nikki’s memories but it’s only a matter of time Tracey and Nathan meet. Linderman is alive, being the one who saved Nathan. Matt Parkman has been teleported to a desert by Future Peter. Mother Petrelli has told Future Peter that he ‘screwed it all up,’ and whats she’s said could be true. Imagine if Nathan told everyone about these powers…ahem. ‘I can fly’ Lewl
So the this Volume of Heroes is called ‘Villains’ and from director Tim Kring, we’ve been informed that we’re going to see people take one side or the other. Good or Bad. Simple right? Not simple when you can’t guess who’s taking what side. Future Ando seems to be a villain! Sylar seems to be a villain but rumour says he’s just not doing ‘bad things.’ Future Peter look evil with that huge scar but…guess I’ll have to wait and see.
I’m yet to watch the second episode. I’m totally looking forward to it.
