Overall, good episode. Focus at first goes to Kid who is still pursuing Elka and Free, when he encounters many tadpole bombs set up by Elka. His symmetry flaw yet again does him no good as he degrades himself at the sight of these bombs. Liz attempts to bring Kid back up but it is only when Patty does her ‘motivation’ that Kid gets out of his selfless trance and continues to pursue, using the explosions from the bombs to propel him forward.
Back to Krona and Maka. Maka has gone loony but it is the Evil Red Imp who’s doing the controlling. I thought the poses and stances they took were a bit extreme. Maka is within his ‘madness’ as she attempts to find Krona’s soul. Within Krona’s soul, her little self is isolated within a desert with nothing. She isolates herself even more by drawing a circle in the sand, symbolizing the fact she has no one to help, cheer her up, even with the sun drooping dead. Her personality splits in half, into a shadow, just to cheer her up. Clearly it shows Krona only has herself to depend on. We see her otherself asking her question about herself but sadly Krona decides to pass, showing a lack of self belief and self worth, probably the reason why at first we didn’t believe she was human at all. Maka finds Krona all alone within the desert, accompanies Krona, getting rid of the circle. This caused Krona to go on a hypo spaz as Krona can not stand the lack of isolation. Yes this seemed to somehow make Krona somewhat human. Confusing episode for me, this is all I could get out with the Krona and Maka bit. Now they are friends,
A good scene, with Blair fighting Mizune. Blair whipping some mouse face with her magic. It is only then when Mizune joins up to reveal her real self, that she can properly match Blair’s….BEAUTY!! Funny scene as the two witches compare their bodies, comparing boob size. Some harem on show for the supposed dead fish salesman to get horny about.
Some focus on Medusa, with Stein interrogating her about Krona and what she’s going to do with her. Medusa intends to throw away Krona, as she’s just a ‘fail test subject’ and the fact that she doesn’t need anything that will drag her back. With this said infront of a daughter loving parent, Spirit/Deathscythe goes on an emo fit, bursting into tears, hearing such fatherless/motherless love. Very emotional!! Pew pew, he goes up to Medusa but is repelled by arrows.
A cute ending to an interesting episode, with closing theme with an animation of Krona and Maka’s new found relationship. Next episode seems to be very promising, as the fighting will go up an extra notch. Blackstar fans will be happy to see him in action, the preview showed him to be so awesome. Serious BlackStar should be awesome.
An interesting episode this week. Naruto starts his Chakra Manipulation Training once again. I’m pleased he’s going to have an awesome jutsu soon. Naruto is given a task to cut a waterfall. Theoretically speaking, it should be very hard as water keeps coming down and down, making it harder, and it proves to be a challenge for Naruto, struggling on a very narrow waterfall with 9 clones assisting. Once again, Yamato sits down with his ‘Sit’ kanji to control Naruto’s chakra, whilst Kakashi bludges reading ‘Icha Icha Paradise.’
Meanwhile, Pain has taken up the two tailed Jinchuuriki. Kakuzu and Hidan head towards the Fire Country, for what I thought was Sora. They arrive at the temple, Kakuzu punches with his iron fist, causing concern among the Fire Temple. Chiriku comes out to face the evil forces! On a bounty-list, his head is worth 30million Ryou. Quite alot of money, especially when you can easily defeat the person. So Chiriku take on the Akatsuki members, using a God with too many arms to pack punches against them. They couldn’t even touch them. In the end, we all knew it, Akatsuki was going to win the fight. The Fire Temple is left in ruins, all the monks including Chiriku are dead, all except one, who will warn Konoha of this incident. Yet again, we see Hidan doing the Seppuku ritual. It’s so scary =o
Naruto finds it hard to cut the waterfall. He whines a bit to Kakashi, who tells him about how he should be happy that he’s already skipped many years of training. Once he mentions Kakashi, Naruto gains a huge burst of motivation, quickly resuming training. Kakashi thought it was time to fatten the waterfall, asking Yamato to do so. Yamato kinda over did it, huffing and puffing after widening it. I can tell you, that waterfall is pretty huge now, Naruto wasn’t even capable of splitting the small waterfall. How long is it gonna take to do this one?
A little thing about the waterfall. Where does all the water come from? All we can see for the source of the waterfall is a tiny lake. There must be a hidden waterpump recycling the waterfall water!! There must be!
Next week we can look forward to Konoha sending out troops to combat Akatsuki, look forward to more training, find out about Sakura’s imba soldier pill. I know I said that I wouldn’t blog but there a void I have to fill. Blogging will be my freedom from study for the next week. ^^! Hope you enjoy reading. I felt this article has been one of the better articles written.
I come back home Thursday Night, turn on my computer. ‘No keyboard present’ says the computer, won’t load to windows. So I check my Optical Mouse and Keyboard, the sensor has no light. So here I’m thinking, it must be dead. Switch keyboard and mouse, and what do you know, nothing works ^^! I guess it’s a good time for this kind of event to happen. Exams next week. I can’t believe I did like around 5hours of Chem study ><
Someone’s coming soon to replace a board and something in my computer. Computer Illiterate me =o. I guess I won’t blog until Friday. Wish me luck!
I did skip the review of episode 5 and I’m sorry if this caused any inconvience. I felt that blogging an episode that I didn’t really understand was the way to go. After watching this episode, I’m slowly understanding more.
From the previous episode, Furuichi and Haru have seen their friend Shindara turn into a human form and die. They’ve decided to enlist into the military as an ASP suit fighter. They are the yellow things in the screencaps. They require brain power to maneuvuer, which makes it hard for those who are stupid. Luckily for Furuichi and Haru, they can actually move these things. All they have to do is pass their exam.
Meanwhile, on the ship, Nakiami investigates smoke that is ahead. Akiyuki unwillingly goes with her, after being pushed off the ship. The smoke was a result of a battle taking place, involving a few human forms. Nakiami tries to save the remaining humanform but gets owned, Akiyuki saving her with his arm, but to also kill the humanform.
Haru receives the letter from Akiyuki. About time they find out he’s OK. His parents are joyful I guess, they didn’t show too much emotion. Now we find out how the military actually were able to use these humanform, hiruko things. Ryuzo, Akiyuki’s dad was a doctor for military, prolonging people’s lives. The ones he couldn’t save were simply used for experiments, and this is how we get these humanform things. All confusing. We need an episode to explain all this stuff, or else I’ll be forced to re watch all the episodes.
Back to military, the Xamdou that they’ve been researching with has awaken and gone out of control. Alarms were raised, scaring everyone, even Furuichi and Haru who were doing their test. It tries to climb to the surface, since this lab is underground a fair bit. They were successful in stopping it, but then it made a bubble that caused a huge explosion, near the warehouse Haru and Furuichi were. The people in ASP suits got hit by the explosion, by some yellow light thing. Out of coincidence, Haru and Furuichi are able to battle the Xamdou…and are pretty much forced to now. So interesting next episode.
Every episode of Code Geass gets bigger, but this episode kinda died off after the massive revelation that Anya is Maryanne. It makes sense now. We see the relationship between C.C and Maryanne. Lucky for the C.C fans, the old C.C has come back. C.C gave Maryanne a geass, which seems to be just a appearance morph, as clearly Maryanne is not Anya in appearnce. Lelouch’s mum (Maryanne) is now off to assist Lelouch, like my friend predicted.
Everything is in a state of mess. Black Knights without their Zero, announcing his ‘death.’ The Black Knights in a state of shock. Schneizel is getting to the bottom of things, claiming the Emperor was just playing around with people, like Lelouch used his men. Suzaku has been given the order to kill Charles.
At Kamine Island, Charles is preparing for his Ragnarok, which in Nordic (I think, read this in history class few years back) Mythology is pretty much the destruction of the whole world. Suzaku is on the island, kills all of Charles’ men before one of the Knights take him on. Charles left to go destroy the world yay. Anya and C.C fly on the Modred to the island to assist Lelouch. Lelouch has already made his plans, not sure how he got onto a Britannia ship,to order some people to execute his plans. This caused confusion amongst Britannia troops as for most, a rebellion was taking place. This gave way for Lelouch to hinder Charles plans.
In the heaven realm, the realm where we see Charles in alot, Charles is in the ready to execute Ragnarok. Lelouch comes in, confronts Charles. And I’m here thinking, Lelouch can’t do anything, so what? Boom goes the entrance to this realm, and from what Lelouch says, nothing Charles does in this realm will affect the world. Yay the world is safe
. But the funny thing is that Charles is stuck with Lelouch forever
I’m not really sure what will happen in the next few episodes. We’ve still yet to see Maryanne do something amazing.
And Yes this is a shoddy review. I have this really bad thing, Code Geass will end on a bad note…
